Do you have a funny parenting tale to tell? We would love to share it.
Here’s a little video guide on how to submit something and why you might want to!
We take submissions that are humorous and well written. We won’t publish anything that is just plain mean, but we do welcome your rants, your tales of parenting disasters, your humorous take on current events, your lists, your poems, your pictures… You get the idea.
We love new and original content, however we will also consider articles already published on your own website. We prefer submissions with a UK edge but will always welcome parents from across the pond although content may be edited for the UK audience.
We are always looking for new and fresh contributors: whether you would like to submit a one-off blog post or become a regular contributor and part of our SmileSquad, it would be great to hear from you.
We are also happy to publish anonymous contributions if they meet our criteria.
All of our blog posts are shared on our social media channels and will include a link back to your site and social channels. Each published post will also contain an RSS feed highlighting the 3 most recent posts from your own blog so as to help you gain new readers. Regular contributors will be asked for a profile for our ‘Meet the SmileSquad’ section.
All of our contributors are welcome to display this rather fetching badge on their own website:
If you’d like to submit a post to You Have to Laugh, please fill in the form below, including a featured image if you have one.
Links back to your own blog and your social channels are welcome but external links may be removed.
We currently aim to email all contributors back within 5 working days, and publish within two weeks of submission.
If you would prefer to send your submission via email, then please fill in the form and we’ll contact you.
Please ensure that you own the rights to the post and any images before submitting. If your post has already been published elsewhere, even if it’s just on your own blog, please put a link back to the original published post at the end of your submission.
