Write Club Challenge Five
5 Ways My Children Take After Me (That I Wish They Didn’t!)
Just when you thought it was safe to get back in the water…
Write Club returns with another challenge so epic in proportions that you may need a giant pen to tackle it. Or an 8ft screen and massive fingers to bash out your works of artistry.
So what is this month’s Write Club challenge, I hear you pondering. If the largely-fonted title above hasn’t given it away already, this challenge is all about your children and how they take after you.
More specifically, the little things you recognise in them that you might wish weren’t passed down from parent to child!
Maybe you have a short fuse, or a sweet tooth or 3 feather-covered legs and every time you see those traits in your little one you wince a little?
Well here’s your opportunity to reveal all through the medium of wordsmithery.
All we ask is that you make them funny (funny ha ha rather than funny peculiar ideally), that you get it done by the end of Sunday 31st March, that you display the utterly lush badge below (yep, I made it) and that you link to the other contestants.
Oh, and that you post your links in our Facebook Group.
Oh, and that you bring your A Game. Obvs.
It’s that simple…
Don’t forget to check back here for links to all the entrants. Here are some…
